The fine print
Terms
Last updated October 2, 2026
The short version. This part isn't legally binding. The full terms below are.
- 1staff is free to play. There are no cash prizes and no entry fees.
- Be decent to people. No cheating, harassment or hate.
- On Roblox you can buy extra lives with Robux. They have no cash value and Roblox's rules apply to the purchase.
- It's a small project run with no budget. It might go down, change or shut down.
1. Who we are
1staff is a shared online world where Roblox and Minecraft players play minigame rounds together. It is run by Origin22 ("we", "us"). These terms cover the website at 1staff.gg, the 1staff experience on Roblox, the 1staff Minecraft server, and the waitlist (together, "1staff").
By using 1staff you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
2. Roblox and Minecraft rules still apply
1staff runs on other companies' platforms. When you play on Roblox, you also have to follow the Roblox Terms of Use and Community Standards. When you play on Minecraft, you also have to follow the Minecraft EULA and Usage Guidelines. If one of those rules is stricter than ours, the stricter rule applies.
1staff is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation, Mojang or Microsoft.
3. Who can use it
- In the game: anyone allowed to use Roblox or Minecraft under their own rules, including their age and parental control settings.
- The waitlist: you need to be at least 13 to give us your email. If you're younger, ask a parent or guardian to sign up instead.
- You're responsible for making sure using 1staff is legal where you live.
4. Your account
1staff doesn't have its own accounts. You play with your Roblox or Minecraft account, and your progress (points, extra lives and leaderboard position) is tied to that account's ID. Keep your platform account secure, because anything done with it in 1staff counts as done by you.
5. Extra lives and purchases
1staff is free. Extra lives let you get back into a round after being knocked out.
- Earning them: you earn extra lives by playing, on both Roblox and Minecraft.
- Buying them: on Roblox you can also buy extra lives, or other in-experience items we may offer, with Robux. Roblox processes the purchase, and Roblox's refund rules apply. We never see your payment details.
- No cash value: extra lives, points and other in-game items aren't money. You can't cash them out, sell them or trade them for real money, and they can't be moved between accounts.
- A licence, not property: you get a personal, revocable licence to use them in 1staff. We may rebalance, change or remove them, for example to fix a bug or an exploit.
- If 1staff shuts down: unused extra lives and items end with it. We'll try to give notice in the game and on this site first.
6. Rounds, points and leaderboards
Rounds are for fun. There are no cash prizes, no entry fees and nothing to win that has real-world value. Leaderboards and points are for bragging rights. We can correct or reset scores that come from bugs, exploits or cheating.
7. How to behave
1staff only works if it's a place people want to be. Don't:
- Cheat, which includes hacked clients, macros, bots, exploits and abusing bugs. Found a bug? Tell us.
- Harass, threaten, bully or dox anyone.
- Use hate speech or discriminatory slurs or symbols.
- Use a name or content that's sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate for a young audience.
- Impersonate us, a moderator or another player.
- Spam, advertise, scam, or ask people for their personal information or account details.
- Attack or overload the servers, or try to get into parts of the system you weren't given access to.
- Sell or trade 1staff accounts, items or extra lives for real money.
8. Moderation
We can remove content, mute, kick, suspend or ban anyone who breaks these terms or the platform rules, or who we think is making 1staff worse for other people. We'll try to be fair and consistent, but we don't have to give notice. You won't get anything back for extra lives or items you lose because of a ban. To appeal a ban, email 1staff@origin22.com.
9. What you share
Your username and anything you say or build in 1staff can be seen by other players and may appear on the site, for example in the live knockout feed. You're responsible for it. You keep any rights you have in it, and you give us permission to show it within 1staff and in clips or screenshots of 1staff.
10. Our stuff
The 1staff name, website, code, game designs and artwork belong to Origin22 or its licensors. Making videos and streams of you playing 1staff is welcome, including monetized ones, as long as they follow the Roblox and Minecraft rules for content.
11. No guarantees
1STAFF IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't promise it will always be online, free of bugs, or that any particular game or feature will stay. We can change, pause or end any part of it at any time.
12. Limits on our liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORIGIN22 IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROGRESS, ITEMS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF 1STAFF. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU SPENT IN 1STAFF IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US$50.
Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
13. Disputes
If something goes wrong, email 1staff@origin22.com first, and we'll try to sort it out informally within 30 days.
If we can't, any dispute will be settled by individual binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Either of us can still take an eligible claim to small claims court instead. Disputes are handled one person at a time, not as a class action or other representative proceeding. You can opt out of arbitration by emailing 1staff@origin22.com with the subject "Arbitration opt-out" within 30 days of first using 1staff.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live in a country whose consumer laws give you more protection, those protections still apply.
14. Changes
We may update these terms as 1staff grows. If a change is significant, we'll post a notice on the site or in the game before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep using 1staff after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
15. Contact
